Parts & Warranty
- Servicing with us does not void your new or used vehicle warranty.
- All parts supplied and fitted are high-quality OEM or OEM-equivalent components suitable for use under manufacturer warranty guidelines.
- Salvation Auto guarantees workmanship and parts supplied by us. Warranty applies only to repairs and components supplied and fitted by Salvation Auto and does not cover misuse, neglect, overheating, lack of maintenance, pre-existing faults, or unrelated mechanical failures.
- Where a third-party manufactured component is proven defective and causes damage, any compensation or repairs will be subject to the manufacturer or supplier’s warranty policy and approval. Salvation Auto will assist in facilitating warranty claims where applicable.
- Warranty does not apply to customer-supplied parts unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Additional Work & Inspection Disclaimer
- All quotations are based on visible inspection and standard service conditions only. Vehicles with age, high mileage, corrosion, or previous repairs may contain hidden faults or damaged components not visible prior to disassembly.
Additional labour and/or parts may be required where:
- Fasteners are seized, stripped, or break during removal
- Threads are damaged
- Spark plugs or glow plugs fail during removal due to corrosion, seizure, or prior over-tightening
- Components have been previously repaired incorrectly
- Hidden defects or additional faults are discovered during service / repair
Where additional work is required, customer approval will be obtained before proceeding where practical. Salvation Auto is not responsible for failure of pre-existing, worn, seized, modified, or previously damaged components.
Diagnosis Disclaimer
- Electrical and mechanical diagnosis is based on symptoms, testing results, and component behavior at the time of inspection. Some intermittent faults or underlying issues may only become apparent after further testing or repair work is carried out.
